Alright, so the Mindfactory numbers for June 2026 just dropped and it’s a whole thing. NVIDIA is back on top for overall GPU sales in Germany, at least through Mindfactory. They shipped almost 3,495 RTX GPUs last month, mostly RTX 50 series cards. AMD was behind them, 3,240 units. It’s close, but NVIDIA took the lead. This is a shift, right. Because AMD had been winning in Germany for a long time, Mindfactory specifically.
Like, back in March 2026, AMD had 55.6% of sales there. And the RX 9070 XT was the top seller then too, 25.6% market share. The RX 9060 XT was also strong, 20.3%. Even in November 2025, the RX 9070 XT sold 925 units, beating the entire RTX 50 series combined which was 920 units.
So, NVIDIA’s comeback is a big deal for Mindfactory. But here’s the kicker, the AMD RX 9070 XT, it still outsold every single card. Like, NVIDIA might have sold more total units, but the RX 9070 XT moved nearly 750 units on its own in June 2026. The RTX 5060 Ti was NVIDIA’s most popular card, 845 units shipped in June 2026. So the individual card popularity, that’s still AMD.And the revenue numbers, that’s where NVIDIA really shines, you know.
NVIDIA grabbed almost 65.99% of the revenue. Their average selling price was like 1,100 Euros. AMD, they got a bit over 32% revenue, and their average selling price was much lower, 519 Euros. The RTX 5080, that card drove most of NVIDIA’s revenue.
It was the second most popular RTX 50 series card. So people are buying fewer NVIDIA cards, but they are more expensive cards, and that means more money for NVIDIA.This Mindfactory data, it’s interesting, but you have to remember, Mindfactory is not the whole market. Some people say it’s a big partner for AMD in Germany, so it might not reflect the whole picture for Germany, or Europe, or the world. Globally, NVIDIA had a 90% market share for desktop GPUs in Q1 2026.
That’s a huge number, just a 1% drop from the previous quarter. Most of that went to Intel, not AMD. So, Mindfactory is a specific snapshot. And what about the broader market? GPU sales have been plummeting, like, dramatically decreasing in early 2026.
Stock shortages, skyrocketing hardware prices, all that stuff. It’s making people not upgrade their PCs. One thing that’s clear, gamers want VRAM. The 16GB GPUs are dominating sales. Like, almost 80% of GPUs sold by Mindfactory in August 2025 had 16GB of VRAM.
If there’s an 8GB and a 16GB version of a card, people are picking the 16GB one. The RX 9060 XT 16GB, it sells way more than the 8GB version. Same for the RTX 5060 Ti. It’s like, 8GB VRAM is just not enough for modern games anymore. NVIDIA’s main focus, it’s not even really gaming anymore, is it?
They are all about AI accelerators. They reported $75.2 billion in Data Center revenue for Q1 FY27. That’s a massive number. So, consumer gaming is just not their top priority, which makes sense when you look at those kinds of figures.
They are bleeding the budget PC builder dry, that’s what some people are saying, with minimum-effort, maximum-margin products. AMD stock, it’s been doing really well. It’s up 144% year-to-date as of late June 2026. NVIDIA stock, it’s only up about 4% in the same period. It’s a huge difference, even with NVIDIA’s massive revenue numbers.
AMD’s current stock price is $514.55. I remember buying NVDA back on January 12, 2024, at $54.61 a share. Just a small personal trade, nothing crazy. I’m holding it until it hits, like, $250, or if the market completely collapses, then I’ll re-evaluate, you know. It’s wild how much things change in this market. So, NVIDIA is back on top at Mindfactory in terms of total units and revenue, but AMD still has the best-selling individual card with the RX 9070 XT.
The overall GPU market is still a bit weird, with sales down and VRAM being a big factor for buyers. It’s a messy picture, always is.
